- Adjusting to Canada's climate was Shalee and Reagan's first challenge. In Canada, people only get to enjoy about 2.5 months, 3 months to the utmost of warm days, like really warm. The rest is either cool days or coldest.
- Canada has the eighth largest immigration population in the world and they are known to be on of the nicest people.

- In adjusting to the change of environment and people, one of the reasons why it was not difficult for Shalee and Reagan to adjust and live there because people there are so nice and they tend to say sorry and excuse me a lot.

- Another challenge Shalee and Reagan faced was the difference in culture. The way of living and cultures in Canada are way different from the Philippines. But Canadians go to great lengths to help immigrants settle down by providing orientation programs, skills training, and social services to name a few.
- ORIENTATIONS
- While staying in Canada and being away from home for the first time was terrifying for Shalee and Reagan. Luckily, in this time the world are in the golden age of technology and get to enjoy its perks.
- Shalee and Reagan can communicate with anyone no matter the distance in just a press or two. Though it can't prevent the homesickness because virtual and physical interaction have big difference but at least it alleviate.
