A long time ago, Princess Silvia and Mars had two twin boys, Romulus and Remus. But, the king of the land ordered them to be killed because he was scared they would take his thrown.
GET RID OF THEM!
And so, two of the kings guards took the babies and threw them into the river in a basket, hoping it would flip over and they would drown.
To everyone's surprise, the babies survived, and got washed to shore. A she-wolf had spotted the babies on shore and decided to take them to her cave and care for them as her own.
When Romulus and Remus were a little older, a hunter had seen them playing in the field, then returning to their home, the wolf's cave. The hunter knew how happy his wife would be if he took them since they weren't able to have their own kids. So, the hunter killed the wolf and took Romulus and Remus to raise as his own.
When the boys were older, they were always rewarded for their noble deeds and their brave-ness, and they wanted to start a city. This was a great idea, and they got to work building. When they were finished, they had to decide on a name for their city, but they kept disagreeing. Remus wanted to name it RAM, but Romulus wanted to name it ROME which had started an argument between the two. It had gotten so bad that Romulus killed Remus.
In the end, the city was named Rome after Romulus, and was crowned king by the people because of all his noble deeds and his heroic character. He lived on to be a great king of Rome
