“Tell me, son, what is it? Make it quick. This sun is eating me alive.”
“Dad, I wanted to talk to you about something.”
“Kid, you don’t know any of this. You are no scientist.”
“Dad, I think that the people in our community believe in things that I think aren’t true. For example, how can people prove that the Earth is at the center of the universe?”
“ You are a fool. You won’t change the world. Look around you. You are nothing compared to other big scientists. It’s better to live with a family and a simple job. Stop thinking about changing the world.”
“Fine. Maybe you are right, dad.”
