- DIEEEEEE
- Now since they will kill eachother I can become king of Thebes!!
- Sister! Help me bury our brothers body!
- We can't! Creon is the ruler of thebes and if we get caught it won't be good.
- Please spare my sister!
- YOU BROKE THE LAW!!
- I did nothing but try to honor my brother.
- After Oedipus left the kingdom and Jocasta killed herself there was an argeement that both Eretocles and Polyneices who were Oedipus and Jocasta son's would get to both rule Thebes. But after Eretocles refused to step down the brothers ended up fighting and killing eachother. After their death their uncle Creon took the throne.
- Antigone will be buried alive in the desert, that'll show him
- I'm leaving. This conversation is getting nowhere
- After Kreon took the throne he declared that Polynieces would not get a burial. Antigone and Ismene who were also childern of Oedipus and Jocasta had an agurment over this. Antigone tells Iseme that she think that they should try and lift their brothers corspe. Iseme disagree's saying that it wouldn't be a good idea and the arguement ensues as Antigone refuses to give up.
- The plan will continue, Antigone will be buried alive
- The guard found Antigone trying to bury her brother's corpse and brought her to Creon. Creon and Antigone then got into a heated argument about Antigone being in the wrong for trying to bury her brother's corpse which is against the law. Ismene then comes and tries to take the blame for what Antigone did which makes Antigone further upset.
- This is because of your actions live with it.
- My son!! This is all my fault.
- Creon and his son Haimon are talking about whether Antigone deserves to die. Haimon is trying to say that she doesn’t deserve to die and she was only trying to avenge her brother and Kreon says that she broke the rules which guaranteed her death and he also says that if Creon kills Antigone he will be making a big mistake. After the conversation gets nowhere Haimon leaves and Kreons says to himself that he is going to bury Antigone alive in the desert.
- Antigone is really depressed about not having her family. She tells the chorus that she doesn't feel alive anymore and that her brother is irreplaceable more than anyone else. The chrous tells Antigone that she is losing her mind. Kreon then announces that he will be burying Antigone alive and Tresias tells Kreon that if he goes through with his plan Haemon will die.
- Keep going down this path and the outcome won't be good
- After the chorus and the messenger have a conversation about the prophecy of Haemon dying if Creon continued with his plan. Haemon's mother Eurydike enters and learns what has happened to her son. She is very hurt by the news and kills herself. Kreon then enters with Haemons dead body and tells the Chorus on how sorrowful he is about his son's death and how he regrets not listening and tells the Chorus to kill him and they refuse saying that he needs to live with the actions he made.
