- Oh, you WILL regret this, Nelson!

- Make him cry father!
- Nelson first off gets in a fight with Marty. Nelson gets beat up bad at the start, but then throws some punches, and gets Marty to the ground. Nelson also gets into a fight with Brother Jerry. Nelson punches him, and gets in lots of trouble.
- Welcome, Feldstar
- You are some runner Nelson.
- After Marty leaves, Nelson becomes the new tough guy. He is the leader of the pack, and others tend to follow him.
- The races
- YOU GOT THIS NELSON!!!
- Nelson gets in big trouble by Brother Jerry after he punches him. So then, Brother Jerry takes him to get the strap. Nelson tries his very best to keep a straight face, and be tough and he does well, even though he ends up with scars all along his arms.
- The final victory
- Not only did I beat everyone in the race, I also beat Brother Jerry.
- When Brother Feldstar shows up, he is a big positive influence for Nelson, and the other boys. He helps Nelson discover his passion for running, through soccer.
- At Nelsons very first track meet ever, his biggest competition is actually his cousin, Ollie. Nelson wins the first and second race, but loses the third to Ollie. In the background, Brother Jerry is not being supportive, and is crushing Nelsons spirits.
- On the final and longest race, Nelson is victorious, and wins by a lot. He feels as though he did not just win a race, but also proved Brother Jerry wrong.
