- That's because lemon juice contains citric acid.
- Citric acid?
- Citric acid has a pH range between 2 and 3, which makes it acidic and has a strong taste.
- Acidic Beverages:
- Ohh I get it, so is citric acid only used for natural flavoring?
- No, take this steak for example. Citric acid is very useful in slowing down bacteria growth in this steak for it won't spoil.

- No problem! Other drinks that are acidic are soda and alcohol. So be sure to drink less of those if you don't want your tooth enamel to weaken like an 80-year-old women, ha ha ha!Toothpaste can neutralize the acid and protect your teeth, since toothpaste is a base. So make sure to brush your teeth and protect those pearly whites!
