Brexit was not helpful to the United Kingdom for many reasons, one of which is the economy. Soon after Brexit, the economy of the UK started to become less global than it once was, meaning the UK's more important export markets are less reliant on their own, and other countries' goods.
I see what you're saying, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Brexit was helpful to the UK because it helped them take control of their economy. Even Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of England, said quote "And so that historic night two years ago marked not the final page of the story, but the start of a whole new chapter for our country, our economy and our people."
Yes, yes, I see your point that Boris has a reputation of lying, but hear me out. With Brexit, the UK has more control over immigration. You see, when you are an EU member country, you have to allow other member state citizens to come and live in your country, that's just EU policy. But with Brexit, the UK can prevent this from happening.
You believe that liar!? Anyway, I definitely see your side there but I still can't agree with you. When the UK left the European Union, they gave up a protective Union that would assist them during conflicts. I just can't see how they'll deal with future conflicts with major superpowers such as the U.S or Russia without help from their european allies.
Well, 828,000 isn't even a lot of employees compared to the 67.22 million people we had... AFTER Brexit. That's saying a lot. But also, bringing up a previous point that Brexit helped with the economy of the UK, they also have close to, if not full control of the economy.
I see that. When Brexit happened, UK got more control over immigration, so what!? A few days ago I read an article saying that Brexit was a Deli Deluxe Special at a local supermarket. But now that I think of it, I also read an article that said that the year after Brexit there was an estimated 828,000 fewer employees than there were before Brexit. Sleep on that!
If we're talking about bringing up previous points, I've gotta add on to one of your previous statements. I've done lots of research on Brexit, like hours and hours and not ONCE did I see an article or video saying that the UK has more control of their immigration. Would you like to say something about that BORIS?
Yes, actually. I can pull up the source right now but I won't do that because I have another reason for you. Have you heard of democracy? Well probably not because you're a monarchist but if you were to just learn a little about it you would know that the government of the UK, led by current Prime Minister and Brexit supporter Boris Johnson, benefited greatly from Brexit. Brexit helped the UK have more control over their democracy proving that Brexit is one of the best things that's happened since sliced bread.
Trust me, I see your side, so I can compromise.
I can see that side, and I think I could compromise with you.
