- Oh no! I don't like this idea. How am I meant to wake myself up at 6am in the morning?
- The government has announced that the country will experience 48hr blackouts every week in order to lower electricity usage. This starts at 11:59pm tonight.
- 6am the next morning
- z z z z z z z
- What??!!! It is 11:30am already!My alarm was meant to go off at 6am. Now I am late for work. My boss won't be happy. This stupid 48hr blackout isn't my cup of tea.
- I cant see if my tie looks alright and I will have to iron my pants because they are crinkly. Oh wait, I can't because there is no power. Grrrr this has gone from bad to worse.
- Right time to have breakfast, no toast, no Weetbix because I cant warm them up in the microwave, no bacon and eggs, I will have to have cereal with cold milk... yuck. I am over this blackout and I still have another day and a half to go.
- This blackout is absolutely and utterly horrendous, does the government expect us citizens to endure this for 48hrs every week. I do not like this one bit. I will go to work now, our computers will be flat, toilets wont work, phones won't be able to charge. Horrible decision by the government, I hope they don't go ahead with it.
