- Here weathering has occurred. I know this because water went into the rock and froze. Causing it to explode, this is call cryofacturing. Weathering breaks down or dissolves rocks. Some other weathering ways are things like water, ice, acids, salts, plants, animals, and changes in temperature. Acids can come when Carbon Dioxide and water mix. This creates a Carbonic Acid, which can dissolve rock.
- Then what's erosion?
- I'll show you. VAMONOS!
- This is erosion. Erosion kind of cleans up the mess that weathering makes. This time, water is cleaning, it could also be things like wind, water, and ice. This requires a lot of movement and gravity.
- Oh, makes sense, but is there a way to speed it up?
- Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!
- Good question. Actually, global warming and human activities can speed up the process. I can show you the after effects of weathering and erosion if you could just follow me.

- The Grand Canyon really is a beautiful place. To think that weathering and erosion could make such a beautiful place like this, and a scary place like the cave we saw. It can cause so many ECHOES!!!! All right, we should be heading back now.
- I learned so much today! I can't believe that weathering and erosion caused that scary cave and the Grand Canyon that got me star-struck. It's just wow. Thanks for showing me and teaching me so much, but I have to get going now bye!
