- Our parents got rid of us and we have no more food, give us your money!
- One soup per person everyone. No cutting in the line, and no taking other peoples food. Everyone is going through the same thing as yourself, so be considerate
- No Please! I don't have anything!
- At least you have a chance of being hired. As an immigrant, I'm the last person they will hire here, and I live in constant fear of deportation. I have it ten times worse then you!
- I've lost everything I have ever loved and I have nowhere life to go in life. Goodbye cruel world!
- Life is awful. I lost my job, my wife, I'm eating from a soup kitchen, and I got mugged the other day. No one has it worse then me.
