When tropical cyclones develop and happen, there is a possibility of storm surges. A storm surge occurs when winds and low pressure brought about by a tropical cyclone push waves to the shore.
The converging of northeasterly and southeasterly or southwesterly trade winds should be considered too, to form or develop tropical cyclone.

Sorry to interrupt but you are wrong. In the Atlantic and Northeast Pacific Oceans, they used to call tropical cyclones "Hurricanes" not "cyclones". In South Pacific and Indian, the term they used is just "cyclone", then in Western Pacific, we called it "typhoons". The structure of a typhoon has five parts-
