- Sure thing, Kristine. I'll go clear the oven and get the trays.

- But Mom, if I wait for the other batches to bake and cool, the batter will go bad. We can't wait till then.
- Kristine, we don't have enough trays!
- We don't have enough trays, and in this weather, we cant even go out to buy anything.
- Is there anyone we can ask to borrow their trays? Maybe the neighbours?
- We can't buy anything now. What are we going to do?
- It's worth a shot. I'll go ask Mrs. Thatcher next door. She bakes a lot, so she would surely lend us some trays.
- Of course I will. This is such a splendid idea. After all, we're taking part in the Spirit of Christmas.
- Oh hi Tina. Nice to see you. Is there anything I can help you with?
- Hi Mrs. Thatcher. Yes, there is. My daughter, Kristine, is baking 100 cupcakes to give to the homeless shelter for Christmas, and I was wondering if you could lend us a few cupcake trays.
