- South Carolina has the right to make our own laws. We don't want to be controlled by the government.
- What do you mean!? We don't want to CONTROL you, we just all states o have the same laws
- How could they say that about us. Slavery is not a bad thing it literally says it in the Bible.
- The South are horrible people. I mean how could they think it's ok to enslave someone.
- I totally agree with you. What they do is unforgiveable.

- OH NO! The Western people are going to be the cause of our fall.
- Jefferson Davis and Abraham Lincoln are arguing about the state rights.

- Lincoln is elected as president. This is the final straw for the South, so South Carolina decides to secedes.
- South Carolina secedes from the union and they were then followed by ten other states which formed The Confederacy.

- The North and South got out of sorts and continued having disputes that led to the civil war. Robert E. Lee led the confederacy and Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain led the Union.
