- Time to drive home from work! I know that I need to follow the speed limit and be cautious of my surroundings to be safe for myself and others. I will use the SEEiT strategy to do so!
- Now that I have started the car, I need to search around me for any probable hazards that could be unsafe.
- I see that there is a man getting in his car, a person wakling across the street and a woman with an unleashed dog. Oh no! The dog has lost its ball in the road!
- I need to turn on my signal so people are aware I am turning, wait for the man to cross the street, make sure the other man is not still on the road, and go slower so that the woman, the dog and the ball are no longer in the road
- After turning on my left blinker, I wait for both of the roads to clear then turn. Going at a slower pace, I tripple check that the woman and dog are at a safe distance from the road.
- Yay! I have used the SEEiT strategy succsefully and drove safely when I saw the hazards. Now, I will continue to use the strategy and hope that i dont encounter too mnay unleashed dogs.
