Storyboard Text

  • The story takes place in the Bible. The Israelites were in the desert, and had complained to God about everything, instead of being grateful.
  • I blame everything bad that happened to God! I wish we stayed in Egypt!
  • God wasn't too happy about the Israelites complaining, so God decided to teach them a lesson by punishing them with snakes.
  • Ungrateful sinners!
  • God please forgive us for our behavior, what must be we do to be healed?
  • Moses begged God for forgiveness and to heal the Israelites.
  • Before going further into the story, how tall was the cloud from the ground if Moses was 857.5cm away from the cloud and was looking at the cloud from 60°? (Moses's eyes were 153cm above the ground.)
  • 857.5 cm
  • 60°
  • 153 cm
  • x - 153
  • 153 cm
  • 857.5 cm
  • 60°
  • We then move on to building the equation. We have to use SohCahToa. This case, I'll use Tangent. Your equation should look like: Tan (60) = (x-153) / 857.5. If we rewrite the equation, it becomes: x = (857.5 * Tan (60)) + 153 Therefore the cloud is about: 1638.23 cm.
  • To find how tall the cloud was, we have to first set variables. Let's have x represent how tall the cloud is from the ground.
  • Make a snake and put it on a poll. If anyone who is bitten looks at the snake, they will be healed.
  • God forgave them and told Moses how to be healed of the snakes
