  • Hi mom! I'm glad you're here, I need to ask you something. I've been doing some quizzes to find out what my multiple intelligences are so I can find a career that fits me. Although, even though I now know my intelligences, I don't know if they fit the careers I want.
  • I'm glad you're asking me! But let's get one thing straight, your multiple intelligences don't need to fit a career. If your intelligences fit the career you want, great! If they don't, also completely fine! You can be anything as long as you are able to develop and grow the skills needed for that job. So what were your intelligences?
  • My top three were Body Smart because I've been in sports my whole life, People Smart because I'm good at communicating with others and I prefer being in a group than alone, and Logic Smart because I've always been good at school and problem solving. And the careers I'm interested in are Aerospace Engineering, Astronomy, Cardiology, Sports Medicine Doctor, and Detective.
  • That's excellent! Let me break it down for you and explain how each of your careers fit your intelligences. First, you had Aerospace Engineering. Aerospace Engineers develop technologies that help them in aviation. They usually work in teams and are around other people, where People Smarts comes into handy.
  • People Smart people tend to like working in groups/teams, so this can be an advantage. Also, this intelligence is a good sign that you're able to efficiently communicate with other, a skill you need for every job.
  • This is also a very difficult career path but since you have Logic Smarts in your top 3 already, you'll be okay. Also, I know you like to work by using your hands which is great because engineering is very hands on.
