- Cause of the French of Revolution
- It's not fair that we have to pay taxes and you guys don't!
- We want the taxes to stay the same
- We will not separate or reassemble until the constitution of the nation is essembled
- The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen
- A Symbol of Enlightenment Ideals and Revolutionary Change
- The three estates of French Society met to try and solve the issues troubling the nation. Conflict arose when the three estates could not decide how to vote.
- THE REIGN OF TERROR
- The members of the third estates vowed to not separate or reassemble whatever circumstances required until the constitution of the nation was established. Created in 1789 during the French Revolution, embodies the Enlightenment ideals of individual liberty, equality, and popular sovereignty.
- NAPOLEAN'S COUP D'ETAT
- I'm taking over now!
- In the fall of the monarchy, The King is trialed and, on 21 January 1793, he is executed as a traitor. we see representatives from the National Assembly gathered to draft the Constitution of 1791. This landmark document established a constitutional monarchy in France, limiting the power of the king and granting rights and freedoms to citizens.
- NAPOLEON'S EMPIRE
- This was a period during the French Revolution after the First French Republic was established in which multiple massacres and public executions occurred. Because the Republic was corrupt
- Napoleon overthrew the France government and began his reign.
- Napolean began to expand his empire.
