They had called a meeting of the Estates to help fix their financial crisis they had found themselves in after the 7 years war, in this meeting the 3rd estateasked for fairer taxes and freedom of the press. The way they voted was a way vote by order each estate had one vote and the 1st and 2nd estate alwaysout voted the 3rd with a 2 to 1 vote
They were locked out of the national assembly and broke into a tennis court and pledged an oath, they also wrote a constitution called the constitution of the rights of man or the constitution of 1791
ON July 14 1789 the citizensof Paris stormed the Bastille, the Bastillewas a fortress used as a prison. The citizens demanded the fortress give them gunpowder that was rumored to be there and the commander said no and fired upon them they then broke down the door and took over the Bastille, this was a majorpart of the revolution.
The march on Versailleswas a march completely of woman who were mad that they didn't have enough bread to feed their children and made Louie 16th move down to them so he could be more in touch with the people
The rain of terror was a time when Robespierre took over and was the leader of France. He was a scary man if anyone heard you say anything that was against the revolution and told him he had you killed you'd get your head chopped off via the guillotine, Robespierrehad establisheda republic.
Napoleonwas a militarygeneral and he had won many many battles and never used the same tactic twice. Once he had won a couple of battles he had enough power from the people and crowned himself emperor he then took over Franceand tried to take over all of Europebut he made 2 mistakes in doing so, those mistakes were trying to take on Britainand trying to take on Russia he was then reformed from his positionand left to die on an island
