I am on my way to learn about the different economies!
Traditional Economy
We hunt and gather for our food because that is the way it has always been.
Command Economy
I'm not able to start my own business because the government controls all resources.
Meet Julia, she is taking a trip around the world to explore and compare the way different economies run!
Market Economy
Welcome to my family owned ice cream shop! I own and regulate all of my resources!
Julia arrives in Ethiopia, and she is stunned to see a very undeveloped country. The country is run how it has always been, through culture and rituals.
Mixed Economy
Welcome to my Amusement Park! I own the park itself, but the government partially owns it by law!
Julia has just arrived in North Korea and is frightened with the lack of choice the citizens are able to make for themselves. All resources are controlled by the government.
Back Home!
It is so cool seeing how every country runs their economy's differently!
Julia has arrived in England and is met by Todd, who owns his own business. In a full market economy, ALL resources are controlled by the people of the country and the people only.
Julia has arrived in the United States, and has found herself in a mixed economy, which is what most countries are. Resources are owned by the government and the people.
Julia has just visited the 4 different economies, visiting Ethiopia, North Korea, England, and the United States.
