- The First Amendment protects several basic freedoms in the United States including freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to assemble, and the right to petition the government.
- 9th Amendment
- The 3rd Amendment forbids soldiers from temporarily taking up residence in citizens' houses during peace time, unless they have consent from the homeowner to do so.
- 2nd Amendment
- BEAR ARMS!
- The 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that civil cases, or lawsuits based on disagreements between people or businesses, have a right to be decided by a jury in federal court.
- 15th Amendment
- VOTE!
- The Ninth Amendment of the United States Constitution states that the federal government doesn't own the rights that are not listed in the Constitution, but instead, they belong to citizens.
- This amendment protects the rights of citizens to "bear arms" or own weapons such as guns.
- The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
