- Student centered technology is about personalizing and helping students individually according to their needs. A teacher may put a lesson onto canvas so that a student who is sick can still access the assignment from home. Students should understand how to use the programs and feel that they are going at the pace they need. A student could watch/rewatch videos until they understand the concept completely.
- Teacher centered technology use is focused on helping the students understand the strands and standards, it is not about using the most recent or new system. For teachers, the students are always the focus. Technology should allow teachers to use new programs that will help the students understand topics in better ways. It will help them teach things in ways that they couldn't have previously. It also helps teachers keep information and lesson plans all in one safe space.
