So far as I remember, My father married my 25-year-old mother when he was 36. They had Margot in 1926 in Frankfurt and me in 1929. I formed a strong bond with my elementary school headmistress, Mrs. Kuperus. My grandma liked her too, but Grandma had a surgery during my birthday last year and died in January of this year, 1942.
