- Oedipus is trying to get the truth out of the Shepard about who he is and the Shepard is resisting, saying it is too terrible to say although Oedipus is suspicious of his true lineage he doesn't know the full storyIn Thor, Loki began to be suspicious that Odin wasn't his father and confronts him
- Tell me the truth before I beat you up, i want to know who my family is even if they are slaves!
- Oh no, I'm about to say it!
- He finds out the truth- that he married his mom and killed his dad like in the prophecyLoki eventually finds out that Odin adopted him as a child to save him from the ice giants and feels betrayed

- The truth is, Jocasta is your mother and she gave you to me when you where a child to kill because she was scared of the prophecies

- Oedipus finds Jocasta dead, she killed herself once he found out because it was too much to bearLoki's mother also died, but from an attacker and he is devastated
