- You're assignment is.....
- Number 20 is up next.
- The Ceremony of Twelves is about to begin, and the Chief Elder presents everybody there.
- ????
- Assignments have begun to be assigned to each 12 year old.
- I sincerely apologize Jonas for causing you fear, and I must assure you that you were not forgotten; you were chosen, and this should be remembered.
- Jonas' number comes up after then, until the Chief Elder skips over Jonas' number and therefore does not attribute him.
- Everyone seems to be surprised and terrified, and the entire crowd is out of control.
- The chief Elder later apologized to Jonas and everyone for leaving Jonas out, but she then explains that Jonas was chosen. They had been looking at him since he was a child to see if he met the requirements for this high privilege. Jonas was assigned the role of Receiver of Memory.
- The crowd erupted in applause as Jonas was assigned one of the most important role, Receiver of Memory. Jonas then realized that he had seen the world in a different light, just like he did with the apple.
