- Hi Mindy! How is everything going in your classroom?
- I am a bit puzzled. I starting a unit on Global Projects, and trying to look for resources. I am not even sure how to introduce it to the students.
- That sounds exciting! Global Projects is a great collaborative project. It allows students all over the world to work together on a project that will help improve our planet.
- Oh wow! That would be a great way to teach students to develop skills in becoming responsible citizens, which is one of our learning goals.
- There are some websites that have some ideas for ways to set it up, and even lesson plans. I really liked the iEARN website and even Digital Promise has some suggestions and resources for you.
- Thanks! I will check them out! I am so excited to get this started now. The students will love it! They will be able to meet and talk with students from other partso f the world.
- Yes! They will be able to work together towards a project, that would be carried out here within the school community.
- This is something we should bring up during our next Pro D meeting! Perhaps we could do is as a whole school project.
- I think that is a great idea! We should collaborate and start on it with your class, and talk to the principal about it. Lookingforward to this!
