- The Journey of a Water Droplet
- Yuck! This dog drank me up, and now i'm evaporating. This is the beginning of the water cycle. Evaporation-the process of turning liquid into vapor. The Sun heats up liquid evaporating it and turning it into vapor, which then rises to the clouds.
- "Slurp, Slurp, Slurp."
- Ahh!
- “When I made it up here the temperatures dropped a ton and it got really cold which transformed me into a tiny droplet which is called convection. But now we are all compacting and forming bigger water droplets which are becoming too heavy for the cloud so we are falling down to an ocean as a liquid." This is called precipitation.
- "Splat!"
- “I landed into the ocean which is called collection but I'm getting woozy! It's really hot in this ocean! Now i'm vibrating too fast and evaporating again, rising toward the sky. This is called Evaporation.
- I transformed from a gas to a liquid by convection again, how awesome!I have traveled all over the world! I wonder where I will go next? Woah, im condensing with all of the other water droplets and forming big water droplets. Now we are too heavy for the cloud and we fall to a lake. This is called precipitation.
- Pit stop everyone! I have to use the bathroom.
- Woah, I am being pulled by gravity and now I am filtering through the soil as recharge. This is called Infiltration.
- Wow collection caused me to be in the lake which is really beautiful but there is a lot of dirt around the water i'm going to go check it out.
