¨The Fall of the House of Usher¨

- The Narrator arrives at the House of Usher after receiving a letter from a childhood friend saying that a mental disorder had taken over his body and made him very sick. As the Narrator was arriving at the house he was extremely unnerved by the outer appearance of the house.
- I can´t believe she is dead!!!
- I am so sorry Usher!!!
- *moment of pause* I do hear that!
- The Narrator gets to see his childhood friend Usher. Usher mentions that his lover, Madeline had ¨passed away¨ due to her cataleptic state. This leaves the narrator extremely worried about Usher´s declining mental state.
- Do you hear that? Do you hear that noise?
- Since Madeline's ¨death¨ Usher´s mental state declines even more. The Narrator watched as Usher screamed music, and paint dark vaults. The narrator had become even more worried considering his current actions.
- How can you possibly be alive?!
- Usher decides that he does not want to perform an autopsy on Madeline or bury her at the family burial ground. So, the narrator helped temporarily entomb Madeline in the walls .
- That night, the narrator was so paranoid he could not fall asleep due to what he had experienced earlier that day. He felt an unimaginable amount of nervousness. Everything in his room made him paranoid. Usher then walked into his room having a breakdown. The narrator then read Usher his favorite romance novel trying to get Usher to calm down. Usher kept complaining about hearing a noise, and the narrator started hearing it too. They realize the noise is coming from Madeline.
- They go to where Madeline is entombed, and they open her coffin. They saw that there was blood on her clothes and other evidence that she had been trying to get out of that coffin. She finally got up and fell onto her brother. Then both of them then collapsed, and as they both died, the House of Usher collapsed.
