- Good morning learners of Grade 7. Today I will be conducting the oral test as promised yesterday. I will be calling out your name one by one to read a short passage to me.
- Yes, ma'am.
- I will send your parents an invitation letter to come to our school for a short conference with me so that we could start our reading interventions.
- After our oral reading test, I found out that a few of you still struggle to read the words correctly, specifically the words with consonant blends.
- Dear parents, thank you for coming here today for I would like to ask your permission to allow your children to extend an hour after their class for our reading intervention. After our oral test, your children are among those students who struggle to read some of the words correctly. I thank you for your support.
