- King Robert the Bruce suddenly realised something:
- King Robert Bruce was a well-known king of Scotland. He was a courageous king. But in one of his many battles, he was defeated. In desperation, he ran away from the battle field and hid himself in a cave.
- Oh No! My kingdom is almost about to have to face defeat in the war! I have failed my job as a king!
- That's when he noticed a spider trying to reach the top of its roof, where its web was.
- King Bruce went back with great hope and gathered an army to attack the English. This time he defeated them and got his kingdom back.
- Huh. I wonder what that spider is trying to do. Why is it trying so hard to reach the top even though it failed so many times!?
- After seven hard attempts, the king saw that the spider actually managed to reach its web.
- If a spider can have the resilience and patience to recover from its difficulties, so can I! I am going to go fight and defeat England once and for all!!
