- The guy on the right's haircut is bad, but he denies it. Denial is one of the defense mechanisms which involves a refusal to accept reality.
- DENIAL
- What? No it doesn't. This is how I wanted it
- DISPLACEMENT
- He is mad at the random bystander rather than himself or the barber. This is a defense mechanism that redirects an impulse
- Why is this dude there! My haircut is definitely his fault!
- He is an adult that's crying about his haircut. This is a defense mechanism called regression where ego reverts to an earlier stage
- Regression
- (crying) why does my hair look so badddd
- He thinks that his hair will grow back by tomorrow which shows his defense mechanism where he lies to himself to make it seem better
- RATIONALIZATION
- I mean, It'll grow back by tomorrow and itll look good.
- He now is telling himslef that he is David Beckham, a famous soccer player that had a mohawk. This is a defense mechanism where one takes another's identity to make themselves feel better.
- INTROJECTION
- IM DAVID BECKHAM!!!
