Moses and The Exodus
Storyboard Text
- Moses is being placed in a basket in the river, They put him in the basket so then he hopefully gets sent to a safer home and so the Egyptians wont kill him. The reason why they were trying to kill him was because they were killing all new born babies.
- Moses is placed in a basket and then was sent down the river. His mum did this in order to save his life from death.
- Baby Moses's basket comes ashore along the river bank in Egypt where the Pharaoh's family find him and bring him up as one of there own children.
- Moses grows up in a very privileged family where life is very comfortable for him + he develops a strong relationship with his adopted brother Ramses.
- Following a banquet at the palace where a lady is treated badly, Moses goes to check in on her. At this time he also has an unexpected encounter with a girl who turns out to be his real sister.
- Moses starts to question his true identity and speaks to the Pharaoh to find out the truth. The Pharaoh admits that he had ordered for the Israelites babies to be killed and that. Moses was not a true member of the family.
- In his despair Moses leaves the palace. he sees all of the slaves and how terrible their treatment is. He sees an Egyptian guard whipping one of the slaves and also he goes to help the slave, he pushes the guard who then falls to his death
