- Gandhi led a march called the Salt March that was followed by lots o people to boycott the price of salt. Almost 90,000 people were arrested including kids .
- The Indian National Congress, led by Mahatma Gandhi, Was granted independence on 15 August 1947. Britain no longer had the money to keep India as part of the Empire, and they no longer had popular support either.
