- But this isn't fair, what are they doing to our country.
- But it's not up to us, we can't do anything.
- Up with Bosnia, Down with the rest!!!
- I am going to visit Bosnia with my wife, to see all the people who probably most likely want to kill me at this point!
- Austria-Hungary annexed Bosnia on October 7th 1908. It was demanded that Austria cede a portion of Bosnia to Serbia.
- This situation annoyed and concerns Bosnian nationalists, they wanted to unify all southern Slavic countries under one government.
- Archduke Ferdinand decides to visit Bosnia in 1914 with his wife, tension is still high.
- Archduke Ferdinand and his wife decide to take a stroll around Sarajevo, Leopold Lojka was driving, when he spots a bomb coming straight their way, it was thrown by Nedeljiko Cabrinovic . He slams the breaks and the bomb just about misses them hitting the car behind. Archduke Ferdinand is safe, but decides to visit the injured at the hospital.
- Whilst driving, Leopold Lojka took a wrong turn as he didnt know the way. Unlucky for them all, Gavrilo Prinvip an ally of Nedeljiko Cabrinovic, was having a drink and had spotted them.
- Unfortunately, both Archduke Ferdinand and his wife were both shot by Gavrilo Princip, him in the neck and her in her stomach, the marked the end of both their lives.
