In June of 1815 the representatives of each state met together to talk about a possible unification. The meeting consisted of Russia, Prussia, France, Austria, and Great Britain. They came up with the German Confederation which replaced the former broken Holy Roman Empire.

June 1840,

Friedrich Wilhelm IV becomes king of Prussia

Friedrich Wilhelm III dies and as a result the royalty passes up the family tree to Friedrich Wilhelm IV. Friedrich Wilhelm IV is now the new king of Prussia. He reigns Prussia from June 7th, 1840 all the way to his death January 2nd, 1861.
