- Chapter 9Now that Brian found out how to make sparks he realized that hitting a rock with his axe it makes sparks which makes fire. He thought for a minute and realized he needed some paper so he took the20$ bill out of his pocket and then goes to get some birch. Next he makes a nest of grass, paper twigs, and birch bark and then hits his axe on a rock and angles the sparks to the nest and makes fire. Now he thinks that he has a friend and wants to tell somebody about what he did. Also he thinks that he can do anything.
- Chapter 10 Now that Bryan has made a fire he realized he cant leave it so he goes to get some sticks and made a pile he went to sleep. He herd something so he got out of his hut and saw tracks and saw that there was a pile o sand so he dug and found eggs there were 17 turtle eggs. he ate 6 of them and hoped that the searchers would come before he finished them.
- Chapter 11After he brought all the eggs to the shelter. He knew that he could never run out of wood so he went to get some all morning. He started realizing the sounds. He finds a perfect area for a fire and tries to make a fire. He realizes that he can eat fish so he looks in the lake and sees tons of fish he thinks about makin a spear and thinks about other things to do
- Chapter 12 Now that Bryan has found out that there is fish in the pond he attempted many stratigies but it didn't work so he thought of making a bow then got hungry so he went to get some rasberrys while a small chicken ran away from about to be getting steped on as he heard a plane so he ran to go make a signal fire. When the sound of the plane got quiet.
- Chapter 13Brian starts by seeing a wolf and a bear realizes that he was on the menu for the wolf but the wolf didn't seem to care so it walked away. After, he went to bed but didn't sleep wishing to die but when he woke up he kept working on his bow and then went to go fish and caught lots, maybe 20. Then he went to bed.
- Chapter 14Bryan is realizing that mistakes are lot harder to fix in the country than in the city. He starts off by seeing a skunk stealing his eggs. But then he got sprayed and ran to the river while the skunk ate the rest of his eggs.
