- I wonder if the latest trend has changed yet... I'm gonna check before I get ready!
- What?! I don't even own any boots 😞
- High heels are out, boots and skirts are sooo the new thing!
- 20% SALE ON BOOTS NOW!
- Ughhh keeping up to the new trends are kinda annoying
- How am I meant to keep up with these latest fads yet don't even own the stuff I need?
- It is a Saturday morning and Belle is scrolling through the social media platform on her phone, searching for the newest trend before she gets ready for the day. It's a daily routine for her, and she is determined to stick to the latest craze.
- DO NOT WORRY!
- Do not worry about your appearance, your status or what you will eat. If God can care for sll the wildflowers in fields and birds in the nests, why worry about how you look or eat? God is always there for you, never worry about your outer appearance…rather who you are inside!
- It says that I shouldn't worry about my looks and that I am loved by God?
- Is this how I should really live?
- Wait a second....What it this?
- Scrolling through, Belle finds multiple posts that mention the new fashion; boots and skirts. She is frustrated that she doesn't even own any boots and how keeping up to the newest trends are a tough job.
- Hmmm... yes. This IS the life I should live. A life where I don't worry about my outer appearance, but rather my inner!
- Flopping onto her bed, Belle wonders on how she will be up to date with the ever-changing expectations of society, while proceeding to scroll through the posts on the platform.
- Oh Heavenly Father, How can I thank you more? You have made me really realise that it's you that cares for me and knows me better than I know myself! Lord, I put my whole-hearted trust in you, thank you for everything you have done for me! 🤩
- Suddenly, she sees a post that catches her eye. It is a page with the definition of the quote 'Do not worry' stating how you are so loved by God and that you shouldn't worry about your looks, for God knows what is best for you.
- Belle stands in the mirror, contemplating whether she should stop worrying about her looks and after some hard thinking, she finally comes to a conclusion to put her whole-hearted trust in God and stop focusing on her outer appearance, rather her inner appearance each day.
- Soon packing away all her very 'fashionable' items and clothes, Belle collapses to her knees, praying and thanking God for his never-ending love and care with a huge smile on her face. Belle is so full of gratitude for the fact that God loves her for who she is and continues on with her new Christ-changed life.
