Is there any treatment for the Lyme disease?
Prevention is the cure for every disease. Wear long pants, long sleeved-shirts, closed shoes to avoid contact with the tick insect. You can use insect repellent to keep the tick away from you. The color of the clothing is better to be light to easily spot the ticks. And off course once done from the trip, take immediate shower and wash your hair to remove the ticks, that would help preventing the outbreak of the Lyme disease
And what can I do to prevent myself being infected with bacteria that causes this disease?
