- Good afternoon, my name is Mahra, I am your Medical consultant, I will gather some data about your case inorder to analyse and assist you to resolve the problem
- Good afternoon, thanks God you are her, I am not feeling well
- An Activities you have done lately? were you in contact with some one who has this case? did you go out some where? Were you bitten by an insect? That might help me diagnose the problem you have
- Did you see insects attach to you? Did you wear short pant or long pant?
- Well, I wear a short pant as it was hot
- Ohm, nothing special. Oh wait, I went out to a grassy field with friends to enjoy the nature
- Looks like you have been bitten by an insect which is blacklegged tick. We have receive similar cases during the warm seasons. This insect carries a bacteria that causes the infection which lead to Lyme disease. What symptoms do you feel? and how long have you been feeling these symptoms?
- There is a bullseye rash on my leg, fever and flu even it is summer. Sometimes I vomit, and a headache most of the time. It has been like few days feeling these symptoms.

- Well, thanks God these symptoms are diagnosed early, as we can treat it before it becomes a serious issue. I will prescribe you an antibiotic other wise if not treated, it will affect the nerves, the heart and the joints.
- Is there any treatment for the Lyme disease?
- Prevention is the cure for every disease. Wear long pants, long sleeved-shirts, closed shoes to avoid contact with the tick insect. You can use insect repellent to keep the tick away from you. The color of the clothing is better to be light to easily spot the ticks. And off course once done from the trip, take immediate shower and wash your hair to remove the ticks, that would help preventing the outbreak of the Lyme disease
- And what can I do to prevent myself being infected with bacteria that causes this disease?
