HEy guys, I'm back if your wondering who I am I'm the moon. Did you know that Shadows are longer in the winter because of the angle of the sun. Your shadow is longest in the early morning and in the late afternoon.

How shadows change from season to season
Hi class
Today class we are going to keep learning about shadows.
Hi Mrs.Johnson
what are we going to learn about them today
At night (moon)
North
As you can see here in the North in december it is winter and very cold, but in South in december int is summer and warm so t is opposite for different sides of the earth because there's more of a shadow on the north then the south.

Hi Mrs.Johnson
Earth’s axis is tilted slightly off-center. During our summer, the northern half of Earth is tilted,or leaning, toward the Sun. So, the Sun’s light hits the northern half of Earth at a more directangle. Because the Sun is more directly overhead, shadows are smaller in the summer than inthe winter. In the winter, the northern part of Earth is tilted away from the Sun. That means thesunlight is not coming in as directly.
Going home
As Earth rotates the Sun appears higher in the sky and the Shadows get shorter. At noon with the sun overhead, objects cast short Shadows or no Shadows at all. As Earth continues to rotate and the Sun appears lower in the sky toward evening, the Shadows get long again
we are going learn about how eaths tilt on its axis and revolution around the sun affects shadows
