- John Adams:I'm going to appoint some people on my last night just to make sure there is still some federalist representation in the government
- Thomas Jefferson:How dare Adams appoint these people, I don't want these federalists in my courts! Madison do not deliver the paperwork to Marbury so he can't work
- James Madison:Yessir!
- William Marbury:Oh dear! I got a new job but the president never sent me my paperwork so I cant work!
- We are gonna take it to the supreme court for judicial review so I can argue that I'm fit for the position!
- Oh No! what are you gonna do William
- What is that?
- John MarshallGentlemen this calls for a writ of mandamus!
- John Adams appointed this man on his last night to try and undermine and keep his federalist beliefs in the courts!

- On the side of Madison it was wrong for him to withhold documents from Marbury
- But on the side of Marbury he was elected in an unconstitutional way

- But we as the supreme court can't make Madison deliver the papers...
- With my jurisdiction I rule that Mr. Marbury will not remain in his position because it is unconstitutional and Madison's choice to withhold documents is beyond the courts control and rule
