- Harper came home from school, and seen Hem on the porch, an eviction letter on the door and her family's belongings on the front lawn.

- When she got inside she saw the empty house and her mom carrying stuff out. She asked her mom about the eviction.
- Still curious on where they were staying, harper got in the car with her family. Her mom said they were going to be staying at a motel. Harpers mother said that a storm is coming so they needed t hurry and unload the car, filling their motel room.
