- The boys plane crashes on a deserted island, and they seem to be stuck. Ralph and the others then find a conch shell which they decide would be used to call the others, this was the start of them creating rules.
- Climax
- They begin to develop rules and a system of organization to help them get themselves together for the time being, especially Ralph was being persistent about this- as it would help them get a system in place. They had to figure out how to survive etc, until saved.
- Falling Action
- As time passes, Ralph struggles to continue to rule and keep order the way it should be, because there are no adults on the island to keep them in check and actual laws. They also discover/ think there is a monster on the island and hold a big meeting to figure out ways to kill it.
- Resolution
- The climax of the story is reached when Jack and Ralph continue to have arguemnts. In additon, Simon realizes that the monster isn't actually real and goes to tell the other boys. Piggy also begins to talk to the other boys about rules and order, but Roger pushes a giant rock down the mountain side, and ends up killing Piggy.
- The boys, including Jack and the hunters grow impatient with Ralph and decide to hunt him.
- Ralph runs into a naval officer, on the island and the running is over.
