- The lamp on the wall is releasing light energy that travels in waves, brightening up my bedroom.
- By sitting on my bed, I am engaging in gravitational potential energy . My position on the bed is the cause of this.
- The mass of me is about 50kg, so I measure 50kg of matter.
- I am running at 20mph, which is my constant speed. It is the rate at which I am able to move.
- I ran from one point of the track, to the end of it. That is an example of the mechanical energy. I moved from one place to another.
- I am running the track for cross country. By doing so, I am using kinetic energy- which is energy motion
- I am brushing my knotted hair. I apply force from my hand, to the brush, to my hair, untangle it, which is elastic potential energy.
- My phone is an example of electrical energy. Electrons are moving through out my phone through a wire called electricity in order to make it function properly.
- I am playing music on my phone, the sound is moving from the speakers in the form of waves. That's an example of sound energy.
