- The stone age was a period of time when all human beings used stone tools. It lasted 2.5 million years and is divided in paleolithic, mesolithic, and neolithic time periods. Humans lived in small nomadic groups.

- The Ice Age was a period of extremely colder global temps. The glaciers reshaped the landscaping of the earth, and taught humans how to adapt and survive in extreme cold.

- Enola Gay was the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb, and that bomb happened to be in Hiroshima Japan.

- The teacher said this because he believes the kids may not understand extremity and how humans had to survive, and the many global deaths.
- The teacher described it the way he did to preserve the children's innocence from the actual violence and pain that Enola Gay caused.
