- Winston Smith works at the ministry of love, who is in charge of editing old history to make the government and Big Brother looks more truthful. He back to homes and begins writing the rebellious thoughts in his diary, which is known as thoughtcrime. A woman who is dark hair, slips him a notes with "I love you" written on it.

- Winston and Julia started to secretly date each other, this action is also known as against the party. They meet at a place where they avoid the spies from the telescreen and microphones. Winston wants to find our more about The Brotherhood and Emmanuel Goldstein. But Julia is less interested on the government. she is having good time with Winston.

- Winston trusted O'brien, who is the member of the inner party who Winston believe is collaborating with the resistance. O"brien also recruit both of them into the Brotherhood. O'Brien also provide him a copy of Goldstein Manifesto. This book s full of darkness on the resistance and INGSOC need to control the people.

- Winston and Julia both wake up as it is a normal routine as a couple. Now that they have joined the Brotherhood and they discussed about their future.They both say together "We are the dead".A voice coming from behind the picture of St. Clement's Church echoes what they say. they realised there is a tele screen and the police arrest them. .
- O'Brien spend months torturing and brainwashing Winston about the ideas of the party. Last, he sends him to the dreaded Room 101, his worst enemies is waiting for him "Rat". O’Brien now straps a cage full of rats and prepares to allow the rats to eat his face. Winston confess to O’Brien that he should do it to Julia, not to him.
- Winston is free from prison, sitting at the Chestnut Tree cafe enjoying his victory gin and watch telescreen. He meets Julia but no longer has any feelings towards her after the betrayal and torturing. He has accepted the party and he learned to love Big Broher.
