In an Aristocracy, power over the government is placed in the hands of the privlaged, upper class. An example of this is in the Roman Empire, and power was given to the aristocrats.

An Anarchy is a society without authority of a governing body. This means there are no rules or regulations set in place.
Republic
We must provide more jobs!
We must provide more government aid!
In a Dictatorship, an unelected leader or group leads the country with very few limitations. An example of this government seen in history is Hitler leading Nazi Germany.
In a Theocracy, a god of some type is seen as the ultimate power. Religion has a high degree of control over government.

In a Republic, a given representive is elected by the people to speak their views and guide the country.
