I am having a stimulus and response to the cold winter I better find a cave to settle down in.
Now that I found a nice cave I start to produce a lot of urine but instead of draining it I store it in my blood.
The reason I can do this is not because I practice but it is in my genetic code.
A transformation begins and the water in my blood starts freezing and the ice on my body sucks the water out of my cells.
So I don't die of dehydration my liver makes large amounts of glucose and when the sugar and blood mix it makes it's own kind of anti-freeze.
I then go into a state of suspended animation and my metabolism and organ functions nearly stop and eventually my heart stops beating.
I can survive like this for months and after winter when spring shows up I start to thaw and wake up as the water flows back into my cells and re-hydrates them.
Now that I survived the winter and am back to normal I will find a mate to reproduce and once my tadpoles go through growth and developmentthey will go through the same process and then I look for food.
