- What the... That's weird... I wonder what happened to him. He doesn't seem to be as ill-intentioned as before...
- Every single time their eyes met in school, Jake would storm away from Finn while he had that chance. It was the only way to escape Finn’s wrath, to not be a victim.
- Climax
- Once after school, when Jake had let his guard down, Finn clandestinely sauntered up to him and pinned him to the wall by his shoulders and shook him as if he was checking for coins in a money bag.
- Falling Action
- Hey! Get back here and pay what you owe or I'm coming after you again!
- Today, though, was a different story. Again, Finn bumped into Jake, who got the living daylights scared out of him, with the thought of Finn beating him up for money. But, Finn dreadfully dawdled away without lifting a single finger on Jake.
- Resolution
- Phew... Are you okay?
- Doubtful and suspicious, Jake followed behind Finn’s footsteps right until he entered what seemed to be a classroom, but dilapidated. Beaming with curiosity, Jake peeked around the door and caught sight of Finn, who was curled up into a ball in a corner, with a person a head taller than him right before his eyes. Horrified, Jake tried covering his eyes when the person was about to strike Finn.
- Oh no! What's going on in there?
- Pay up, now!
- However, Jake’s hands came to a halt. Having seen many people fall victim to the same thing and having experience of it as well, he wanted a change. So, mustering up his courage, Jake sprinted at the speed of light and pounced on the person behind his back, causing him to fall down.
- Quick, let's go!
- He then pulled Finn up and dragged him away as far as his feet could bring him. With sight of the person lost, Jake stopped and asked Finn if he was okay. With tears emanating from his eyes, Finn murmured a phrase he had rarely said before.
- Yes.. T-Thank you f-for helping me...
