- I am Pepin, son of Charles Martel. I became king after my father.
- I am Chrlemegne, I was know as "Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire" I am the son of Pepin.
- I am Charles Martel,a powerful nobleman who united France.
- New Threats
- The Fall of Rome, was also known as the Middle Ages or Medieval period. During this time Germanic Tribes invaded kingdoms in many parts of the Roman Empire. This invation was known as the Barbarian Invation.
- The Franks were the largest Germanic Kingdom. Charles Martel was a powerful nobleman that united France, his son Pepin took power of France and became king, He increased military power. Pepins son, Charlemagne, was know as " Emperor of the Holy Rome Empire" he expaned land for military service practice.
- After Chaelemagne died, land was divided among his sons but, Western Europe started to be invaded from all around. Invaders came to Western Europe in search for things that could benefit them such as the vikings invaded in search for trade, loot, and land.
