Hey Kary, My name is Mary and I have a couple of questions to ask for my research article about you. First off, What are you most known for?

Hi, id love to help. Well to start im probably most known for my invention of the Polymerase chain reaction technique.

Wow that sounds so cool but what is it? Can you elaborate?

Well it is used to amplify DNA sequences. It is a procedure where the temperature is altered of the DNA resulting in an enzyme duplicating the sequence

Wow thats an amazing thing to successfully discover. Did you receive any awards for this?

Yes in fact, I won the 1933 Nobel Prize in chemistry for creating it.

This is probably because ever since the pandemic started and people had to get covid tested my PCR was the most efficient and helpful tool for labs.

How come your invention is very spoken about in the last couple years?

My colleagues never thought my ideas were actual good ones. Often they would say they had many mistakes or didn't even listen at all.

Were you and your colleagues on the same page and did they believe in you?

PCR is allowing scientist to map the human Genome. The Human Genome project is using PCR to see humans blueprint and will one day allow us to create a human

Whats one way that PCR is making a change in the world
