- As you can see the sun is the only 1 star in our solar system.
- Really,I thought there were billions of stars in our solar system.
- If you payed attention in class you would know that already.
- Anyway there are 8 planets in our solar system.
- Geez cool down!
- These planets are made of gas.
- Yes
- They are all made of different things?
- The Earth rotating the sun makes up day and night.
- There is only one star in our solar system and it is the sun.Stars produce their own light.
- I thought the sun rotated the Earth.
- It would be weird if Earth produced its own light.
- Our solar system has 8 planets .There are 4 inner planets and 4 outer planets.The inner planets are Mercury,Venus,Earth,and Mars.They are made of rock and dust.
- Yeah it would be, Earth would be glowing.
- The outer planets are Jupiter ,Saturn,Uranus,and Neptune.They are made of gas.
- Look at all these stars and they are all in our solar system.
- Like I said the beginning there is only 1 star in our solar system and that is the sun.
- Day and night is made when Earth makes a whole rotation on its axis.When our side of the Earth is not facing the sun it is night.When our side is facing the sun it is daytime.
- Planets do not make their own light.They reflect light from the sun.
- In our Universe there are billions of stars but in our solar system there is only one.
